The Boy in the Field: Overview

As you may have heard, I am releasing my new book The Boy in the Field next month. But who is the boy in the field? And why should you care?

Actually, the boy is not the main character in this book. You are. Oh yes! The Boy in the Field is a choose-your-own-plot fantasy novel. But this is not a light-hearted, fun-for-kids adventure. This is a game of life. Your choices change the direction of the story with consequences stretching beyond fighting monsters and finding treasure. Your choices change the lives of the characters. And that is why you should care.

The story starts when a thirteen year-old girl meets a boy. Can you guess where? Yes. In a field. When the animals in the field begin to stampede, your choices could save his life. The same is true with each chapter following – your choices can change everything. Who lives. Who dies. Who is happy and who suffers. Even the fate of nations can be decided by your actions alone.

With over eighty different endings, The Boy in the Field should keep you entertained at least until the plane lands. Or the bathwater goes cold. Or the kettle’s boiled. Some stories are longer than others. Some are happier. And if you don’t like the ending? You have the power to change it!
